The Google Wave Backbone
Google has released specifications of its Wave Federation Protocol that allows Wave sites to communicate with other Waves sites.I guess its only logical that they’d pick XMPP (Jabber) to do the hard work, much like XMPP handles the Google Chat load. Well call me retarded by I missed the launch of Google Insights for Search (http://www.google.com/insights/search/). Its like Google Trends only much more analytical.
See what the world is searching for via search terms and break down the results for a time period, geographic location, season etc.
